Samskriti - Samskritam - Vedic Dharma
If we consider the dharmic knowledge from Veda Vangmayam as a pot of nectar, then the form of that nectar is Samskritam. If we understand this form well, then we can enjoy the taste of that nectar (gain the knowledge).
Samskritam is the foundation for our Vedic scriptures, an extensive body of knowledge — that includes Shruthi (Vedas), Smrithi (Dharma Sasthra), Puranas, Ithihaasa and their foundation parts (Angas – Shiksha, Kalpa, Vyakarana, Chandas, Nirukta, Jyothishya & UPangas (Purana Nyaya, Meemamsa, Dharma Sasthra). Even the simple Slokas we recite daily, praising our favourite deity are written in Sanskrit. It is not just the letters that make up the words but the "Bhavam", the essence. Hence, we believe that adopting a unique and simple method of learning Samskritam will help everyone absorb (not just understand) the text being read. We consider Samskritam to be one of the three pillars of our initiatives.
The other area we would like to positively influence is related to our daily practices, rituals, or simply the way we go about our lives (conduct - way of life). Through various means, such as Pravachanams, Lectures, Guided Sessions, and Blogs, we would like to spread this knowledge exactly as it ought to be understood and practised - our Vaidika Dharmam. It is the way our Rishis (enlightened souls who have reached the exalted state of consciousness) and Acharyas (practitioners and teachers of such knowledge) have taught us from time immemorial.
Finally, what is Samskriti (loosely translated to culture in English), if not our social conduct and dharmic duty? We believe with the right interpretation of the scriptures and knowing the right life practices, we can bring about the right culture - the Samskriti. In this process, we are not only becoming better selves but making positive contributions to the larger society that we live in - Vasudaika Kutumbakam!
Come, Join us. Let's share and enjoy together the Amritam of Samskriti and Samskritam through our Vaidika Dharma!
Welcome to "Samskritamrutam"

The purpose of our Trust is to bring about a positive change in the society around us by realising our vision. This purpose is woven around the three pillars: Samskriti, Samskritam and Vedic Dharma.
The projects and initiatives we undertake connect the three pillars of our purpose and bring the vision into reality.
Introduce a unique and easy method to teach Samskritam that directly connects one with our extensive bodies of knowledge (scriptures like Bhagavad Gita, Puranas etc.)
Conduct Pravachanams (Sravana Yagnam) to help everyone identify the right practices for our daily lives and the correct (Vedic) way of doing them.
Deliver structured lessons to gain deeper knowledge of our Dharma and practice our daily rituals like Nitya Pooja, Sandhya Vandanam, etc.
Disseminate Dharmic information through interactive blogs and offline Resources (documents, videos).
Support Vedic Schools, Scholars through financial aid and other required resources
Create enabling platforms on Vedic Knowledge, Dharma, etc., for the exchange of ideas/knowledge and to create interest in society.
Support society during hardships like natural calamities, and pandemics through various means.
Uphold the Indian culture and take initiatives to preserve and develop our ancient culture.
Provide opportunities especially for the young minds to participate and spread the dharmic knowledge through volunteering.
Jnana Deepika
Our flagship project "Jnana Deepika" is an ambitious effort to collate various scriptures and Puranas (Bhagavad Gita, Ramayana, etc.) to help understand the Samskritam language in a unique, simple and contextual manner. This is available as a web portal through which one can get to the root of each word through the context of a scripture. For example, suppose you are browsing Bhagavad Gita sloka on this portal. In that case, the portal shows you the word-by-word meaning of the sloka and you can also explore the word and its usage/application in other kavyams or contexts.
Samskritam Lessons
In collaboration with Rishi Peetham and others, we conduct Samskritam Lessons for those interested. Please see our Events and Learning Pages for more details.
Samskritam Lessons and Exercise Book
Focusing on the children keen to learn Samskritam, we carefully curated the syllabus for young minds and published the lesson books and exercise/workbooks for their practice. These resources are also useful for anyone trying to learn Samskritam.
Please take a look at the Projects page for more details and the Activities page for current/past activities.
